Real Homes. Real Budgets.
Real Inspiration.
Dwelanor exists because every home deserves to feel beautiful — not just the ones with designer budgets.
Hi, I’m Hayat 👋
I started Dwelanor because I was fed up with home decor content that felt completely out of reach. Perfectly staged rooms shot in houses most of us will never live in, product lists with four-figure price tags, and zero acknowledgement that real homes are lived in — by real people with real budgets, real kids, rented walls, and furniture that doesn’t match.
Dwelanor is the blog I wish had existed when I started decorating my first apartment. It’s a place for honest ideas, achievable projects, and genuine recommendations from someone who has actually bought, built, and tried the things I write about.
What You’ll Find Here
Every post on Dwelanor is written to be genuinely useful — not just pretty. Whether you’re trying to make a tiny bathroom feel spa-like, figuring out how to hang a gallery wall without 40 nail holes, or trying to decode what Japandi actually means, this is your place.
🔨 DIY Projects
Step-by-step guides written for real people, not expert woodworkers. If I can finish it in a weekend, I’ll tell you exactly how.
💡 Room Ideas
Room-by-room inspiration sorted by style and budget. Browse by the space you’re working on, not by an algorithm.
📦 Honest Picks
When I recommend a product, I mean it. Affiliate links help keep the lights on, but they never change my opinion.
My Decorating Philosophy
I believe in layering a space slowly. In buying one great piece instead of ten forgettable ones. In thrifting before buying new. In paint as the cheapest renovation you’ll ever do. In the power of a single candle and a well-placed plant to completely change the feel of a room.
A beautiful home isn’t finished — it’s a work in progress that evolves as you do. And that’s exactly how it should be.

The best place to find me is on Pinterest, where I pin new ideas every day — rooms, DIY projects, style boards, seasonal picks, and product finds. You can also follow along on Instagram for behind-the-scenes looks at actual rooms in progress.
